Go dutch


Meaning

  • to share/split the cost of something, especially a meal
  • to share the bill for something like dinner, drinks...

Example

  1. How about dinner tonight? We'll go dutch, okay?
  2. I don't want you to pay for my ticket. Let's go dutch
  3. We usually go dutch when we eat out.
  4. He paid half and I paid half. We went dutch.
  5. No, you're not paying for this, we'll go dutch.
